Underpinning is a complex, but beneficial process that creates support below the ground for an existing structure, extending the depth of footings without knocking the house down.
Underpinning is executed to create a void (such as a room), or if it’s showing signs of cracks, or when a structure is sinking and requires additional support.
During the underpinning process, the On Point Piling team is able to excavate as deep as necessary to reach rock or the desired depth.
