Contiguous Piling, Rose Bay

This assignment was one of the most comprehensive that the On Point Piling team has worked on to date.

We shored the boundaries with both contiguous piles as well as timber shoring.

Once the land was safely benched down to the correct depth, we began the second stage of contiguous piling to create a basement for a block of 12 units.

The contiguous piles are used for both shoring, to allow for excavation, as well as for creating a base for the buildings perimeter walls.

For this large project, we inserted over 400 piles, totaling more than 2,700 lineal metres drilled. Even more impressive, our speedy team completed the assignment under 6 weeks, on time and on budget!
